Jayne's involvement with choirs stretches back (further than she cares to remember!) but she has sung semi-professionally for many years with the Melbourne Chorale, Victoria Chorale and Victorian Opera Chorus.
As a music graduate of Melbourne University, Jayne has been working with schools for more than 20 years. This has included choral specialist positions and senior class music, teaching VCE and International Baccalaureate. She is currently on the music staff at Presbyterian Ladies College.
Coral has played the piano for most of her life. Academically she completed her Bachelor of Music and Graduate Diploma in Education at the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Educational Studies at Monash University. At present Coral is pursuing further tertiary studies at Melbourne in her 'spare time'.
Since her school days, she has developed an intense enthusiasm for choral accompanying, enjoying the challenge of supporting choirs and forming an artistic collaboration with choral conductors. She has toured interstate as Accompanist with the Berwick Youth Choir, overseas with the National Boys Choir and locally with the Da Capo Singers. During her long and happy association with the Choral Institute Coral has been fortunate enough to accompany the choir to Switzerland, Austria and Germany.
Coral is currently the Deputy Director of Music at Haileybury College, running the Music department at the 'Edrington' precinct in Berwick. This position involves teaching students from age 3 to 14 years, organizing the instrumental and choral program, and providing numerous performances throughout the year.
